sifu Tóth Zoltán

The leader of the school

Sifu Zoltán Tóth (the leader of our school) started to practice Shaolin Kung-fu, and then from 1988 started to learn Wing Chun. First he studied the system of Cheng Kwong grand master named Chi Shim Wing Chun.

At that time one of the Hungarian representatives of Wing Chun was János Végh who learned from the gGerman masters sifu Lotar Hirneist and sifu Klaus Pertl. The two masters regularly (one or two times per year) visited Hungary to held seminars and training camps for the local enthusiastic students. In 1991 Jánosh Végh broke all contact with the two masters for unknown reasons and the Hungarian team started to learn from the also German sifu Walter Block. János Végh decided not to practice Wing Chun kung-fu anymore. Three of his instructors (Kálmán Kiss, Zoltán Tóth, István Demjén) taken his place, and studied and taught the system of sifu Walter Block till 1999, for 8 years.

Alas because of the old age of sifu Walter Block, the further studying from him become impossible; they were forced to seek out another teacher. Then the school was named Hsiung Hsiung Tao and its leader Zoltán Tóth, contacted sifu Wilhelm Blech, who was the head of the European Lok Yiu Wing Chun Kung Fu Association. Alas three years later sifu Wilhelm Blech retired from teaching and entrusted his school to one of his student who has Persian origin.  This student modified the structures of between the schools and the instructors so that six of the seven Hungarian instructors decided not to learn from him anymore, and separated from the association.

After this sifu Zoltán Tóth contacted the well known grand master Lo Man Kam who lives in Taiwan, (the nephew of grand master Yip Man) and asked him to teach him. The grand master invited sifu Zoltán Tóth to Taiwan and after three weeks accepted him as a student.

Of course the three weeks while sifu lived at the grand master house and trained daily in his school was but a good start. They are in contact fluently, sifu traveling to visit grand master Lo Man Kam for a month to learn there with the other students of the grand master and si-gung Lo Man Kam visits Hungary regularly to hold seminars to the local students.

The best instructors have the privilege to accompany sifu Zoltán Tóth on his visit to Taiwan, and they can learn in the school of the grand master as well.

The center of the school is in Szeged, Hungary, but expanding dynamically, having more and more clubs in Hungary and other countries (Romania, Slovakia) as well.
